Amid speculation that she will rejoin BJP, Congresss leader Vijayashanti has made sensational criticisms against Telangana chief minister and TRS chief KCR.Telangana PCC campaign committee chairman Vijayashantisaid chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao is likely to quit to pave way for his son, Telangana RashtraSamithi working president and MAUD minister KT Rama Rao’s appointment.
Vijayshantii revealed that KCR was making efforts to sideline Minister Harish Rao. She added that Vijayashanti said that Finance Minister Harish Rao was working tirelessly to prevent the BJP and Congress parties from getting deposits in the Dubaka Assembly by-election. But after the election, CM KCR was going to give him a shock. According to TRS sources, the GHMC will hold elections after the Dubaka by-election and as soon as the results come out, the sector is all set to field KTR as the CM. For the first time ever, KCR’s resignation has come to the fore in support of this argument.
May be KCR really has plans to quit the chief minister’s post and hand over the reins to his son K T Rama Rao after Dubbak by-elections and subsequent elections to Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation,” said senior actress-turned-politician and former MP Vijayashanti.
She said throwing the blame on the BJP, the chief minister was offering to resign.
“It clearly shows what is going to happen in the coming days in the TRS. Even when Union home minister Amit Shah accused the TRS government of misusing central funds, KCR did not talk about his resignation. Why did he raise this subject now?” she asked.
On the other hand TRS chief K Chandrshekhar has made a big attack on the centre as he said that the Center has approved the agricultural bills in Parliament by resorting to ‘hooliganism’. Inaugurating the first ‘RaituVedika’ ( KisanSuvidha Kendra ) in the state, the TRS chief said that he would also talk to leaders of other parties to fight against the Center on agricultural laws.
After inaugurating ‘RaituVedika’ at Kodakandla in Jangaon district of Telangana. Chandrasekhar Rao said that Telangana did not hold protests like Punjab, but TRS opposed the agricultural bills in both houses of Parliament. Praising Punjab for its fight, the CM said that the people of Telangana should also think about opposing agricultural laws.
KCR said that northern states like Punjab are protesting with resentment over new agricultural laws and during Dussehra, Modi’s effigies were burnt instead of Ravan’s. He said that the NDA government did not have the requisite strength in the Rajya Sabha and opposition parties demanded voting and division on agricultural bills, but the Speaker announced that the bills had passed.
CM Rao rejected the Centre’s claim that the laws would benefit farmers. CM said that only big traders would benefit from this. Will a farmer go to Delhi and sell his produce there? Only corporates and businessmen will be able to sell their produce in other states. KCR further attacked the BJP saying that every year the state government’s pension expenditure is between Rs 10,000 crore and Rs 11,000 crore, but the Center only pays Rs 105 crore. Rao said that the state government gives pension to more than 38.64 lakh people, including senior citizens and widows, besides giving Rs 2,016 to each person in various categories, but the center only gives pension of 200-200 rupees to seven lakh people. He said that the BJP leaders claim that the Center is paying Rs 1,600 per person and if someone proves them wrong then they will quit.
