Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray are face to face regarding the proposed Noida Film City. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is planning to build a film city in his state. In this connection, he reached Mumbai on Tuesday and met a few film stars. CM Uddhav Thackeray is angry with efforts to make a film city in Noida and is saying that he will not allow it to happen.
In this connection, Yogi Adityanath has been attacked in Shiv Sena mouthpiece Saamana. The party wrote, ‘Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is a sage-mahatma at heart. These monks arrived in Mumbai Mayanagari and are staying at the ‘Oberoi Trident’ monastery on the beach. The main motive of Sadhu Maharaj to come to Mayanagari is to move the Film City of Mumbai to Uttar Pradesh. We will not let anything be taken from Maharashtra.’
UP government minister SP Singh has retaliated on Thackeray and said, “Uddhav Thackeray has lost his sleep after UP CM visited Mumbai. They’ve used offensive language using Saamna editorial, which we condemn. This may be their party culture. We were welcomed open-heartedly by Bollywood people.”
“Shiv Sena shouldn’t raise fingers at others. They should 1st rectify their culture with Bollywood. If they want to keep something (Film City), they should keep it, no one wants to take it away. It’s all about competition,” added SP Singh
Earlier, Uddhav Thackeray in an event organized by the Indian Merchant of Chambers of Commerce on Tuesday, said, ‘Maharashtra is a magnetic state. Maharashtra continues to attract industrialists even today. No industry in the state will go out. If you have the strength, then take out the industries here.”
Commenting on the tour of UP CM Yogi Adityanath, Thackeray said, “It is a good thing to have competition, but if someone wants to take away anything by shouting and threatening, I will not let that happen.”
Warning the state’s entrepreneurs and people associated with the Bollywood industry Thackery had said, “some people will come to meet you and say that come to us. But you don’t have to listen to them.”
Shiv Sena’s chief spokesperson and MP Sanjay Raut also targeted CM Yogi Adityanath’s visit to Mumbai. He asked that is it a joke to take film city of Mumbai. He said, “Everone knows what is the status of Film City in Noida. In such a situation nothing is going to happen if another film city is formed in UP.”
Further taking a dig at Yogi’s plan to build a film city in UP he said, “There are film cities in other states including Karnataka, Bengal. Will CM Yogi also go there and talk about shifting those Film City or is he only targeting Mumbai Film City.”
Along with Shiv Sena, Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) also attacked CM Yogi Adityanath on his Mumbai tour. MNS put up posters in Marathi at night outside the five-star hotel in which CM Yogi is staying in Mumbai. In these posters, CM Yogi was said to be a thug and said, ‘Thugs have come to take Mumbai’s industry to UP to hide the unemployment of the failed state’. It has been reported that the UP Chief Minister is going to meet many entrepreneurs and film stars of Mumbai even today.
