The Sushant Singh Rajput death case is turning into a potboiler as new perspectives are coming up every day ever since the CBI has taken the probe. With a full media glare on the investigation, every minor detail has become a subject of public scrutiny as fans are glued to the case round the clock.
Now, a new angle has evolved after the investigation unearths Rhea Chakravorty’s WhatsApp chat with alleged drug dealers. These retrieved chats with one Gaurav Arya who is a drug dealer had been deleted by the actress. Back on March 8, 2017, Rhea had texted to Gaurav: If we talk about hard drugs, then I have not used more drugs.’
Interestingly, BJP MP Subramanian Swamy had also claimed about Sushant meeting a Dubai-based drug dealer before his death.
In another chat between Rhea and Gaurav, she asked him about MD, which is presumed to be Methylenedioxymethamphetamine (MDMA), a very strong drug. “You have MD?” she wrote.
There is another chat Rhea had with a person called Samuel Miranda. ‘Hi Rhea, the stuff is almost over.’ This chat took place between the two on April 17, 2020. He asked Rhea: “Can we take drugs from Shovik’s friend? But he has only hash and bud.” These are known as low-intensity drugs.
All these chats on drugs that Rhea had with potential drug peddlers have been revealed by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) who were questioning the actress and other potential subjects. CBI will likely pick up the drug angle from here on and further quiz the connected people and join the dotted lines along with the ED. Rhea’s laptops and phones were already in possession of the ED.
However, Rhea’s lawyer has refuted claims that she had ever dabbled with drugs in her life. He said that she is ready to undergo a test at any time if need be. The Mumbai police, who were earlier handling the case did not register anFIR and dubbed it as ‘accidental death’.
