The newspaper said Bezos’ phone was hacked after opening a message on WhatsApp, which was sent from the Crown Prince’s private account.
The Guardian said that they (Bezos) had received a code-file video file from this number, which, according to the results of a digital forensic analysis, hacked the phone of the world’s richest man.

The Guardian quoted unnamed sources as saying, “When this unexpected file was sent on May 1 of that year, the two were having friendly talks on WhatsApp.”
