Rama Singh’s entry into RJD becomes difficult as party workers protest at Rabari’s house

Rama Singh’s entry into RJD

With Assembly elections approaching closer in Bihar the political stirring is at its peak in the state. Meanwhile, Political drama in the Rashtriya Janta Dal has also gained momentum soon after Senior Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader and former Union Minister Raghuvansh Prasad Singh’s political opponent Rama Singh has said he will join the party on August 29. The news of Rama Singh’s entry in RJD has created a ruckus within the party.

Late Wednesday evening, RJD workers from Mahanar assembly constituency reached outside Rabri Devi’s residence in Patna and started opposing Rama Singh. When the protestors did not stop shouting slogans, Tejashwi Yadav himself had to go out and talk to the workers. Now after the protest, Rama Singh’s entry into RJD is likely to become difficult as it has been reported that when Tejaswi came out to calm the workers who were shouting slogans he told them that he himself is not in the favour of bringing Rama Singh into RJD. After his assurance, the party workers calmed down and the matter subsided.

Former Union Minister and former RJD MP Raghuvansh Prasad Singh, who is also a very close aid to RJP supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav, is already very angry with the news of Rama Singh joining the party. Singh’s anger intensified after Tej Pratap in his speech said that if Rama Singh chooses to leave the party that will not harm the party at all. Amid all this political drama in RJD, speculations are also ripe that,Raghuvansh Prasad Singhmay soon choose to join Janta Dal United.

Rama Singh had also intensified attacks on Raghuvansh Prasad Singh after he had confirmed about joining RJD. In his speech he had said that he had received the green signal from the RJD and will join the party on August 29. Rama Singh alleged that Raghuvansh Singh was favouring Nitish Kumar. He also said that Raghuvansh Singh will never be able to match him while questioning his contribution to RJD.

However, seeing the situation deteriorating before the election, Lalu himself has started Damage Control. Lalu, upset with Tej Pratap’s statement, has called his son to Ranchi. Both are meeting today. Meanwhile, Tejashwi has also explained That Rama Singh is not being brought to the RJD. In such a situation, Rama Singh’s entry into RJD has become difficult.

RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav has summoned his elder son Tej Pratap Yadav in Ranchi RIMS and it has been said that he is angry about the statement made by Tej Pratap against Raghuvansh Prasad. Before leaving for Ranchi, Tej Pratap had said, “I am going to visit my father at RIMS as I have not met him for many days. I want to ask him about his health.” “It is the time of elections in Bihar and I am discussing with Tejaswi what should be the party’s strategy. No one is angry at the party. Raghuvansh Uncle is not keeping good health but we all are together,” added Tej Pratap.

Significantly, Raghuvansh Prasad Singh resigned from all posts in the party last month after the news of former Lok Janshakti Party (LJP) MP Rama Singh joining the RJD. He was then infected with Corona and was undergoing treatment at AIIMS, Patna. He had sent his resignation to the national president Lalu Prasad through a letter from the hospital itself. Although Lalu Prasad Yadav has not accepted Raghuvansh Prasad Singh’s resignation yet, Raghuvansh is also firm on his decision. Raghuvansh Prasad has just gone to New Delhi for treatment. Even after being corona negative, he still has pneumonia.
