Mamata Banerjee’s Trinamool Congress has supported the Aam Aadmi Party in the Delhi Assembly elections. Party’s national spokesperson leader Derek O’Brien on Thursday (January 30) uploaded a video on Twitter promoting AAP candidates and appealed to people to vote for them.
The relationship between Mamata Banerjee and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal is friendly and in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, Kejriwal also supported his West Bengal counterpart. In the case of former Kolkata Police chief Rajiv Kumar, he had supported Banerjee against the Center.
At the same time, Banerjee also condemned the attacks on Kejriwal during the general election and targeted the BJP in the case. O’Brien tweeted, “Vote for candidate Raghav Chadda from Aam Aadmi Party’s Rajendra Nagar constituency. Vote for Arvind Kejriwal and all ‘AAP candidates in Delhi. “
In the video, O’Brien is seen in Rajendra Nagar constituency in central Delhi, where he arrived to support the Kejriwal government. He said in the video that the promises made in relation to health, education, water, electricity and pollution were fulfilled.
He said, “He fulfilled the promises he made.” Raghav Chaddha is the candidate from here. One of the young talent of Delhi. Vote for you, vote for Raghav Chaddha. May the Aam Aadmi Party do very well. “
