US President Donald Trump’s son says that Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden is not a viable option as far as India’s standpoint is concerned. Trump Jr., 42 years, said that Joe Biden will be softer on China if elected. This will not augur well for India due to the border disputes with the Dragon nation.
Trump’s son spoke at an event celebrating the success of his book—”Liberal Privilege”, dealing with graft allegations against the Bidens. The book details allegations of corruption against 77-year-old Joe Biden’s family, particularly against his son Hunter Biden.
“We have to understand the threat of China and no one knows that probably better than Indian-Americans,” said Trump Jr., while interacting with a select group of supporters from the community at the event in Long Island, New York.
He is currently campaigning for his father, 74-year-old Donald Trump for another round of Presidential term, the elections for which are slated to happen on November 3 next month.
“When you look at our opponents in this race… you think the Chinese gave Hunter Biden USD 1.5 billion … because he was a great businessman, or because they knew the Bidens could be bought, and therefore soft on China,” he said.
Indian-Americans have been looking at what the Democrats have been pushing or what they have been ignoring for the last six months, said Trump Jr.
“When I saw the enthusiasm of my father with Prime Minister Narendra Modi …you know, I used to think that Trump rallies were pretty big in America but that was the biggest Trump rally probably ever … in India.”
Al Mason, co-chair of the Trump Victory Indian American Finance Committee also said that no US president has respected and treated an Indian prime minister or India or Indian-Americans like President Trump has.
