Police is fighting with the farmers moving from Punjab to Delhi against the Central Government’s Farmers Law. Protesting farmers in Ambala on the border of Haryana and Punjab, defying all arrangements of police-administration, overthrew its barricades and captured the fire brigade carriage. Police forces are now using tier gas on farmers to push them back.
The protesting farmers and Police are clashing, There Haryana Police had deployed water brigade vehicles by putting barricades through which water was being showered on the farmers. But all these arrangements have proved insufficient in front of the farmers. The protesting farmers are trying to move ahead by removing those barricades.
In the meantime, angered by the arrest of social worker Medha Patkar, who was going to Delhi in support of agitating farmers, farmers of Madhya Pradesh have started a sit-in near Sayya on the Agra-Gwalior road.The UP Police,refused to give entry to the farmer going to Delhi led by Pttkar, into the borders of the state.
Haryana Police has also made heavy deployment in Karnal to stop the agitating peasants who are forced to walk with luggage on their heads . Police has closed the Delhi-Chandigarh High Way. In such a situation, people arriving in Karnal from Delhi or Himachal-Punjab are forced to go towards their destination on foot by putting the goods on their heads. People say that the administration should have made any alternative arrangements for the passengers before closing the highway.
Delhi Police is also engaged at all levels to prevent agitating farmers deployed on the DND from entering Delhi. For this, the boundaries of Delhi have been sealed for the farmers. Farmers of Greater Noida, Ghaziabad should not enter Delhi in support of farmers coming from Punjab. In view of this apprehension, Delhi Police has also barricaded DND. With this, a police force has been deployed there. Noida police has also reached DND in the border of UP. At present, normal traffic on DND is operational and there is no jam.
Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal has come out in support of the agitating farmers. Arvind Kejriwal tweeted that all the three farming bills of the central government are anti-farmer. Instead of withdrawing this bill, farmers are being prevented from holding peaceful demonstrations, water cannons are being used on them. This crime is totally wrong on farmers. Peaceful demonstration is their constitutional right.
Farmers Movement (Farmers Movement due to) have had partial impact on train services in Delhi. Metro services coming from neighboring states are being closed till 2 pm. During this period, the exit of people from 12 metro stations of Delhi is also banned. A heavy police force is deployed along the border to prevent thousands of farmers coming from Punjab-Haryana (Punjab-Haryana) from entering Delhi.3 battalions of CRPF have been deployed along the Police Force at Delhi-Haryana border. According to the police, every vehicle on and off is being monitored. Home Guards are also posted.
