Children of martyrs will get exemption in CBSE exam

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has given relief to the children of soldiers who are taking the front and fighting in the fight against terrorism and Naxalites. Under this, it has been decided to relax such children in the rules of the upcoming board exams for class X and XII.

According to CBSE exam controller Shyam Bhardwaj, in 2019, after the Pulwama terror attack, CBSE decided to give some relaxation to the children of martyred soldiers of the armed forces and paramilitary forces. At the same time, in the year 2020, the soldiers of armed forces and paramilitary forces who are fighting against terrorism and Naxalites in the country or have been martyred while in service, have decided to relax their children in the examination rules.

Permission to change the examination center: If board examiners of this category want to change their examination center in the city, they will be allowed to do so. They will also be allowed to select an examination center in another city. Provision has been made to give relaxation in practical examination. Such candidates can take a practical test till April 2, 2020 at the facility. Examiners will have to request the school for these facilities.
