Omprakash Dhankhar has announced his new team within a month of getting the responsibility of the post of Haryana BJP President. After discussions with Chief Minister Manohar Lal, Dhankar took approval from National President JP Nadda and National Organization General Secretary BL Santosh and announced the names of all the 22 district heads on Wednesday morning. Dhankar has included jawan, science and farmer in his team.
Earlier Dhankhar visited all the districts and got feedback about the name of new district heads at the divisional level. Now it is the turn to declare the state team, which can be announced within the next one fortnight. In the new team of state president Om Prakash Dhankhar, full representation has been given to the youth, farmers and party leaders of science category as well as women and youth. Most of the district heads formed during the tenure of the outgoing state president Subhash Barala have been changed.
On the other hand, Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal has congratulated all the newly appointed BJP District Presidents. The Chief Minister congratulated him through a tweet and said that he hoped that all the District Presidents would make the party successful and take the party to new heights of success with more strength. Former state president Subhash Barala also congratulated the new district heads. Former Finance Minister Captain Abhimanyu, former Industries Minister Vipul Goel and former Minister Kavita Jain called upon the district heads to work towards the interests of the party and the government to come forward to solve the problems of public interest.
Dhankar made 19 new district presidents this time, while repeating three district presidents. Mohan Lal Badoli, MLA from Rai in Sonepat, has been given the responsibility of the post of District President of Sonepat. Mohan Lal is the only MLA who has been made District President. The reason for this is believed to be the Baroda by-election. Dr.DharmaveerNandal was the District President in Sonepat, who has been replaced.
This time the BJP has given two women the chance to become District President. These include outgoing chairperson Gargi Kakkar of Haryana Khadi and Village Industries Board and Dr. Archana Gupta, District General Secretary of Panipat. Gargi has been made District President of Gurugram and Dr. Archana Gupta has been made District President of Panipat. The current district president Ajay Bansal in Rohtak, Gopal Sharma in Faridabad and Ashok Kumar Dhand in Kaithal have been reappointed.
After the demise of the district heads of Rewari and Yamunanagar, new presidents have been appointed in these two districts. Ashok Dhand was made the district president of Kaithal in the mid-term. Dhankar himself has been the national president of the KisanMorcha.
In place of Jagmohan Anand in the district Karnal home of CM Manohar Lal, General Secretary Yogendra Rana has been given the command of the post of District President. BJP has also given state executive members, district general ministers and leaders associated with KisanMorcha a chance to play on the front line.
Every class has got representation in Omprakash Dhankar’s team. The special thing about the appointment of their district heads is that the workers of the organization were given responsibility in the organization. This time neither the women were ignored nor the youth were ignored. While giving respect to the hardworking workers in the organization, the party has given the responsibility of the District President to the leaders of clean image.
Dhankhar was appointed as the state president on 19 July. For one month he held talks with more than two hundred and fifty divisional presidents. Many went to the districts themselves. Existing MPs, MLAs and Ministers were also discussed with Union Ministers and former ministers. The final discussion was held with Chief Minister Manohar Lal. Soon after, Dhankhar reached the national president JP Nadda on Tuesday evening with a list and made the list of names of district heads public on Wednesday, 19 August at 7.30. There are many names in this list, who were rightly entitled to the post, but they were not getting the post according to the work.
